Selfie in progress. Sometimes it is interesting to see how a painting progresses. I often take photos while I am working so that I can remember the journey.

Painting a self portrait was an eye-opening experience. It might have been more pleasant if I hadn't waited until I was in my sixties to do it!

Anyway, I took a very casual selfie, choosing one that didn't show all of my face. I love the whimsical nature of it including my bright red and chartreuse readers.

This painting was a prize winner!
