Peonies

This light filled floral was inspired by the peonies that my daughters gave me on Mother's Day.  I placed the vase in front of our kitchen window so that they were backlit by a beautiful blue spring sky. I always include some treasured books, fresh fruit and patterned fabric in my compositions for added interest.
