             About Me
     Living a Colorful Life

IMG_4828_edited.jpg

Somebody once told me, “Your hands are never still.” It’s true.  I began painting at seven when my mother enrolled me in classes at the Toledo Museum of Art. At 12 I studied with Dan Passino who introduced me to pastel and later oil painting.  It was a class of 6 people, 5 over 50 and one curious 12 year old that loved learning. I continued my study of Painting and Art History at Bowling Green State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

I have had the opportunity to study and learn from phenomenal artists, including Wolf Kahn.  His love of color inspired me to celebrate vivid hues in my own work and I am forever indebted to him for that passion.  My still life paintings have been influenced by the work of Janet Fish. I aspire to bring the same passion and celebration of life to my paintings.

I hope you enjoy my work and that it brings color into your life.  I see beauty in the world and want to convey that awe and wonder to you with my paintings and other works of art.

Please text me if you would like to purchase any of my paintings or mixed media work or if you have questions.

Sincerely,
